Felton was responsible for the Jungle room sessions. The bonds between him and the performer were so close that when Felton Jarvis’s kidney failed in 1971, Elvis paid for his dialysis and an eventual kidney transplant. Felton had a strong work ethic and being able to bring the best out of any artist.
In an interview he once said, "...to be associated with Elvis is the greatest thing in my life. I once told him I liked the watch he was wearing. He took it off and gave it to me. He is a great person... I don't think anyone will ever equal Elvis as a performer.
